The Area

Tideswell is in the heart of the Peak District National Park.  We have the ‘Cathedral of the Peak’ church, a good range of local shops, two restaurants and six pubs in walking distance along with three cafés.  The Co-op, a Post Office, bakers and a sandwich shop and cash point are all within 5 minutes walk of Blossom House.

There are lovely walks in to the surrounding Derbyshire Dales right from the doorstep; Blossom House has five national Nature Reserves all a short walking distance from its front door.

Places of interest nearby include Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the market town of Bakewell and spa town of Buxton.  A short drive way is Castleton with its many spectacular caves and not far from there are the ‘Dambuster’ dams pf the Derwent valley.

Nearby we have the famous Monsal Trail, a great spot for walking and cycling and the plague village of Eyam.

Cyclists and muddy boots are welcome.  We don’t have a lock up for bikes but park them in the private courtyard.

Please note, we no longer accept dogs.

If you have any questions or are interested in staying at Blossom House, please ring on 01298 872985.
